NHS and Emergency Service Discounts

In August 2008 the Blue Light Card launched its online discount scheme.  Our service offers NHS discounts, Police Service discounts, Fire Service discounts and Ambulance Service discounts online for free.  We work hard to make sure that we are improving our service and adding more NHS and emergency service discounts.  Originally created for the NHS service and broadened to allow all service personnel to acquire discounts and as well as the NHS. 

The Blue Light Card released its High Street Card Account in January 2009.  This allowed those in the NHS and services to receive discounts on the high street as well as online.

In July 2009 Blockbuster Entertainment Ltd became the official sponsor of the High Street Card NHS and emergency services discount scheme.  Blockbuster Entertainment have added to their discounts and are providing all those on our NHS and emergency service discount scheme with our high street card with 10 free rentals including 2 in store.  This exclusive deal adds to our discount options available to NHS and emergency service staff.

All sorts of companies have signed up to provide discounts both on the high street and online for our members.  We at Blue Light Card believe that the work of the NHS and Emergency Services deserves to be rewarded with free discounts in the communities they serve.

The Blue Light Card discount scheme accepts all those in the emergency services and NHS and believes every role is crucial to the running of the emergency services and NHS.  For example if you are a NHS cleaner, NHS nurse or a NHS surgeon we invite you all to the discount schemes.   The NHS is vital to Blue Light Card and recent success has come from the internal relationships we have developed with the NHS.  For more NHS and emergency service discounts and marketing materials in the NHS please contact our team or your NHS discounts or improving working lives representative. 

It is vital to our success that we build relationships within the services as well as in the NHS.  We want our scheme to offer both national discounts and local discounts whilst providing a service that all in the NHS and services will use.  We improve our scheme through feedback from you and have already added companies thanks to NHS Nottingham PCT and NHS Medway PCT. We need your help to spread the word across the NHS and emergency services about our discount scheme.

We provide two levels of service; online discounts and high street discounts.  Our high street discounts account also includes premium online discounts.
