It's free! All we ask is for you to provide a genuine offer to our members that is better than your standard prices.

Your offer appears in the Offers Near You section of the Blue Light Card app when a member is within approximately 20 miles of your business. Near You offers appear in the app only and are not currently shown on the Blue Light Card website.
Members search by location or postcode to find nearby offers. Offers cannot currently be searched by business name.
When a member selects your business they see your business profile, offer details, terms and conditions, and the offer expiry date. Keep your offer clear and up to date to help members understand and use your promotion.
Check that they have a valid Blue Light Card. Members receive a new card every two years with an expiry date printed on the front. If they do not have the physical card, they can show a digital version on the Blue Light Card app.

Yes. You can update your offer at any time through the Business Hub.
Offers may be rejected if they don't meet our offer guidelines or Terms & Conditions.
Common reasons include:
If you have a physical location where customers can visit and redeem an offer, you're also welcome to include an online offer if you wish. Please note that although any Blue Light Card member would be able to access your online discount, your listing itself will only be shown to members viewing the map in your local area. You can either provide a discount code in your offer listing or ask members to email in evidence of their membership card before offering a discount code.
Near You offers are shown in the Offers Near You section of the Blue Light Card app. Please note they are currently not shown on the Blue Light Card website. To find your offer within the app:
Please note: Near You offers are searched by location or postcode, not by business name. If your offer has recently gone live, please allow a short time for it to appear. If you still cannot find it, contact us and we'll check it for you.
We're working on giving small businesses access to the live map to check your listings. Please check back for updates on when this will be available.
It all depends what you're offering, how strong your offer is and how much competition you have in your area. You can list up to 3 different offers and update them whenever you want, so feel free to experiment and find out what works best for you and your local community!
We'd always advise our local businesses to make sure their offers are profitable, even if the levels of redemption take you by surprise. You can keep redemption levels under control by offering limited time offers, like "10% off in November for Blue Light Card members", or trying other things like "Buy one, get one half price" to entice members to spend more.
Your listing will be available on our app to anyone in your local area, so it should attract new customers to your business. The type of offer you give can impact whether you attract new customers or increase the spend of your regulars.
