2023 - Our year in the spotlight

A lot can happen in a year, and we are so proud to be celebrating another successful 12 months after saving our members over £330 million during 2023. 

This year, our members have increased by 600,000 taking us to more than 3.6 million, allowing the Blue Light community to save big across 20 categories including fashion, hospitality, travel, days out and more. 

What’s more, the Blue Light Tickets team distributed 185,000 free event tickets to the Blue Light community including an exclusive VIP event at Wembley Stadium.  

Our exclusive Member Days were once again a huge hit with members, as more than 65,000 reduced priced tickets were sold to Merlin attractions across the UK. These took place at Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Legoland Windsor Resort, Thorpe Park Resort and Warwick Castle.  

Further successes came as we celebrated 200 employees and launched the Blue Light Card Foundation, our official charity to support the mental health and wellbeing of the wider Blue Light community.   

2024 already looks promising following our recent accreditation from Great Place To Work for a second year running, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviours proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.  

Reflecting on 2023 and looking ahead to 2024, Alidad Moghaddam, CEO at Blue Light Card, said:
