How do I join Blue Light Card?
You will need to register online to join Blue Light Card. It costs just £4.99 for two years' access to our dedicated rewards service. Unlocking thousands of discounts, exclusive events and free tickets. Ready to apply? Start your sign up journey here.
Who can apply for a Blue Light Card
Blue Light Card is available for those who work or have retired from the emergency services, NHS, social care sector, teaching community, the armed forces, and many other key sectors that serve our communities. Check to see if you're eligible here.
How will my employment be verified?
How will my eligibility be verified?
There are two ways we verify your eligibility:
- Instant Email Verification: If you have a recognised work email, such as NHS or emergency services domains, you will be verified instantly when you sign up.
- Document Upload: If email verification is not possible, you can upload proof of employment. This includes a work ID badge, recent payslip, or official letter showing your name, employer, and role. Our team will then review your documents and verify your membership; this typically is done within 7 days.
Please note: During busy periods, processing times may vary slightly.

Our members have access to over 18,000 discounts with local, regional and national UK brands. These discounts are available online and in-store across many categories.
