Forces Pension Society Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Who we are

1. We are Blue Light Card Ltd, whose registered office address is at Charnwood Edge Business park, Syston Road, Cossington, Leicester, Leicestershire, England, LE7 4UZ (referred to below as “Blue Light Card”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
2. We are a discount service provider for our members who are part of the NHS, armed forces, emergency services, social care, teaching community and a range of other front-line roles including selected retirees that are eligible to qualify for a Blue Light Card. The Prize Draw

1. We are partnering with Forces Pension Society to promote a Prize Draw to its members. These terms and conditions apply to the ‘Forces Pension Society Prize Draw’ (the “Prize Draw”).
2. The Prize Draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, who are members of Forces Pension Society and are retired Armed Forces members that are eligible to qualify for a Blue Light Card, as per Blue Light Card’s eligibility criteria listed at clause 1.2 (such eligible participants are referred to below as “Participants”).
3. Entry to the Prize Draw is free upon a qualifying transaction occurring. 
4. The Prize Draw is available to enter from our mobile application or website. 
5. A Participant will successfully qualify to be entered for the Prize Draw when a qualifying transaction takes place during the Entry Period (as defined in Clause 2.7). A “qualifying transaction” occurs when an eligible Participant successfully: 
6. completes our sign up journey to register as a new Blue Light Card Member. This includes: 
7. creating an account with Blue Light Card and verifying it via email; 
8. selecting your employer and/or organisation as:
9. a serving or reserve member of the Armed Forces;
10. a veteran;
11. a bereaved family member (Next of Kin);
12. employed Ministry of Defence Civil Servant; or
13. retired Ministry of Defence Civil Servant
14. providing a valid identification document including work email, payslip, pension document, valedictory letter, or pension document of deceased family member  
15. paying our £4.99 membership fee; and
16. being approved by us as a new BLC Member.

or

1. completes our renewal journey to renew their existing Blue Light Card membership during the Entry Period. This includes: 
2. paying our £4.99 membership fee; and
3. being approved by us as a renewed BLC Member. 
4. Entries are limited to one per person.
5. The opening date for entries is 12 February 2026 (the “Opening Date”). The closing date for entries to the Prize Draw is 11:59pm on 27 February 2026 (the “Closing Date”). This is the “Entry Period”. 
6. Entries submitted before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date shall not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified.
7. We will not accept:
8. responsibility for entries that are corrupted, or not successfully completed or transmitted due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind; 
9. responsibility for any technical interruption, fault or site failure that occurs when entering the Prize Draw (including when purchasing any product which must be purchased in order to participate in the Prize Draw); or
10. proof of transmission or submission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Draw. 
11. 10 winners will be chosen by random draw using a computer process on Friday, 6 March 2026 , ("Draw Date"). Each winner will be allocated one Prize only.

The Prize

1. The winners will each receive a Prize as set out in this clause. A “Prize” is a digital grocery gift card that can be redeemed at one of the following stores: Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Waitrose, ASDA, Farmfoods, Tesco or Morrisons, and valued at: 
2. £10 – there are 10 digital gift cards on offer.
3. The total value of all available Prizes is £100.
4. Each Prize will also be subject to its own individual set of exclusions and terms and conditions as set out by the relevant third-party provider of the Prize. Please check the terms and conditions on the Prize carefully for any limitations or validity periods for redemption. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the validity period of any Prizes and will not be liable for expired Prizes or limitations imposed by a third-party supplier or merchants at the point of redemption. 
5. The Prize does not include any expenses incurred by the winners when taking up / using the Prize, including but not limited to travel, parking, food, drink, or accommodation expenses, insurance (if required), and any other expense or cost in excess of the balance of a voucher or any cost that is outside of the scope of the voucher. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the taking up or use of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.
6. The Prize winners will be notified that they have won via email to the email address registered to their Blue Light Card account within 7 working days following the Draw Date. The notification email will be delivered by noreply@communications.bluelightcard.co.uk. 
7. The Prize will be provided to the winners by Huggg Limited and to redeem the Prize a winner will need to follow the instructions set out in the notification email sent to the winners.
8. Each Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 
9. We reserve the right to replace any Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. 
10. Our decision regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding. 

General

1. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim each Prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
2. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or associated with any social media platform including Facebook or Instagram.
3. Neither Facebook, Instagram nor any other social media platform are responsible for any element of the Prize Draw and you release them from any liability.
4. You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry to the Prize Draw. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. A copy of these terms and conditions shall be available online on our website for the duration of the Prize Draw and for four (4) weeks after the Draw Date.
5. We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so. 
6. We, our agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of the winner taking up or using a prize except where it is caused by the negligence of us, our agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your legal rights are not affected.
7. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
8. The Joint Promoter of this Prize Draw is Forces Pension Society, 68 South Lambeth Road, London, SW8 1RL (Joint Promoter).

Data Protection and Publicity

1. We will collect and use your personal data as necessary to perform the Prize Draw and (where appliable) deliver the Prize to the winners. For more information about how we process your personal data, please see our Privacy Notice here. 
2. We must publish or otherwise make available information that indicates a valid Prize Draw took place. To comply with this legal obligation, we may publish on our webpage the surname and county of the winner, or winners where applicable. If you object to any or all of your details being published or made available, please contact us at: dpo@bluelightcard.co.uk. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority or any other regulator on request.
3. A winner may be asked to take part in publicity related to the Prize Draw. Such publicity might (upon request) include use of the winner’s social media handle, email address, and/or likeness. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of entry or of Prize acceptance.
