Festive Prize Draw

These terms and conditions (the “terms and conditions”) apply to the Festive Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”) and should be read carefully before you enter.

Who we are

1.1. We are Blue Light Card Ltd, whose registered office address is at Charnwood Edge Business park, Syston Road, Cossington, Leicester, Leicestershire, England, LE7 4UZ (referred to below as “Blue Light Card”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1.2. We are a discount service provider for our members who are part of the NHS, emergency services, social care, teaching community and a range of other front-line roles. A full eligibility list of those who can qualify for a Blue Light Card membership can be found here: https://www.bluelightcard.co.uk/en/eligible-professions (“Eligible Professions”).

The Prize Draw

2.1. These terms and conditions apply to the ‘Festive Prize Draw’ (the “Prize Draw”).

2.2. The Prize Draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom and the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man aged 18 years or over, who are registered Blue Light Card members with an expired or soon to be expired Blue Light Card membership that have been notified by us in writing to the email address registered to their Blue Light Card account on or around the date of this Prize Draw, except for our employees and their immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), their agents or any third party directly associated with the administration or promotion of the Prize Draw (such eligible participants are referred to below as “BLC Members”).

2.3. Entry to the Prize Draw is free upon a qualifying transaction occurring.

2.4. The Prize Draw is available to enter from our mobile application or website.

2.5. A BLC Member will successfully qualify to be entered for the Prize Draw when a qualifying transaction takes place during the Entry Period (as defined in Clause 2.7). A “qualifying transaction” occurs when an eligible BLC Member successfully completes our renewal journey to renew their membership during the Entry Period. This includes:

2.5.1. logging into your Blue Light Card account during the Entry Period;

2.5.2. completing our required renewal form (where prompted);

2.5.3. inputting the requested details and uploading the relevant eligibility documentation to confirm that you fall within an Eligible Profession;

2.5.4. paying our £4.99 membership fee; and

2.5.5. being approved by us as a renewed BLC Member.

2.6. Entries are limited to one per person.

2.7. The opening date for entries is 27 October 2025 (the “Opening Date”). The closing date for entries to the Prize Draw is 11:59pm on 9 November 2025 (the “Closing Date”). This is the “Entry Period”.

2.8. Entries submitted before the Opening Date or after the Closing Date shall not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified.

2.9. We will not accept:

2.9.1. responsibility for entries that are corrupted, or not successfully completed or transmitted due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind;

2.9.2. responsibility for any technical interruption, fault or site failure that occurs when entering the Prize Draw (including when purchasing any product which must be purchased in order to participate in the Prize Draw); or

2.9.3. proof of transmission or submission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Draw.

2.10. 59 winners will be chosen by random draw using a computer process on Monday, 24 November 2025 ("Draw Date"). Each winner will be allocated one Prize only.

The Prize

3.1. The winners will each receive a Prize as set out in this clause. A “Prize” is a digital grocery gift card that can be redeemed at one of the following stores: Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Waitrose, ASDA, Farmfoods, Tesco or Morrisons, and valued at either:

3.1.1. £25 – there are 22 digital gift cards on offer;

3.1.2. £50 – there are 20 digital gift cards on offer;

3.1.3. £75 – there are 10 digital gift cards on offer; and

3.1.4. £100 – there are 7 digital gift cards on offer.

3.2. The total value of all available Prizes is £3,000.

3.3. Each Prize will also be subject to its own individual set of exclusions and terms and conditions as set out by the relevant third-party provider of the Prize. Please check the terms and conditions on the Prize carefully for any limitations or validity periods for redemption. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the validity period of any Prizes and will not be liable for expired Prizes or limitations imposed by a third-party supplier or merchants at the point of redemption.

3.4. The Prize does not include any expenses incurred by the winners when taking up / using the Prize, including but not limited to travel, parking, food, drink, or accommodation expenses, insurance (if required), and any other expense or cost in excess of the balance of a voucher or any cost that is outside of the scope of the voucher. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the taking up or use of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.

3.5. The Prize winners will be notified that they have won via email to the email address registered to their Blue Light Card account within 7 working days following the Draw Date. The notification email will be delivered by noreply@communications.bluelightcard.co.uk.

3.6. The Prize will be provided to the winners by Huggg Limited and to redeem the Prize a winner will need to follow the instructions set out in the notification email sent to the winners.

3.7. Each Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

3.8. We reserve the right to replace any Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

3.9. Our decision regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding.

General

4.1. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim each Prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

4.2. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or associated with any social media platform including Facebook or Instagram.

4.3. Neither Facebook, Instagram nor any other social media platform are responsible for any element of the Prize Draw and you release them from any liability.

4.4. You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry to the Prize Draw. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. A copy of these terms and conditions shall be available online on our website for the duration of the Prize Draw and for four (4) weeks after the Draw Date.

4.5. We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

4.6. We, our agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of the winner taking up or using a prize except where it is caused by the negligence of us, our agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your legal rights are not affected.

4.7. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Data Protection and Publicity

5.1. We will collect and use your personal data as necessary to perform the Prize Draw and (where appliable) deliver the Prize to the winners. For more information about how we process your personal data, please see our Privacy Notice here.

5.2. We must publish or otherwise make available information that indicates a valid Prize Draw took place. To comply with this legal obligation, we may publish on our webpage the surname and county of the winner, or winners where applicable. If you object to any or all of your details being published or made available, please contact us at: dpo@bluelightcard.co.uk. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority or any other regulator on request.

5.3. A winner may be asked to take part in publicity related to the Prize Draw. Such publicity might (upon request) include use of the winner’s social media handle. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of entry or of Prize acceptance.

Sausage Roll Giveaway

1. Who we are 1.1. We are Blue Light Card Ltd, whose registered office address is at Charnwood Edge Business Park, Syston Road, Cossington, Leicester, Leicestershire, England, LE7 4UZ (referred to below as “we”, “us” or “our”).

2. The Giveaway

2.1. These terms and conditions apply to the Sausage Roll Giveaway (referred to below as the “Giveaway”).

2.2. The Giveaway is open to all residents of mainland United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, who are registered Blue Light Card members opted-in to receive either or both of (a) Marketing push notifications, and (b) Marketing email updates, and who have not logged in to their Blue Light Card account between 00:01 and 23:59 on Friday, 28 November 2025, except for our employees and their immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), their agents or any third party directly associated with the administration or promotion of the Giveaway (such eligible participants are referred to below as the “Entrants”).

2.3. The Giveaway is free to enter. No purchase of any kind is necessary to take part in the Giveaway.

2.4. The Opening Time for entries is 08:00 on Saturday, 29 November 2025 (the “Opening Time”) and the Closing Time for entries to the Giveaway is 23:59 on Saturday, 29 November 2025 (the “Closing Time”). This is the (“Entry Period”). Entries received before or after this time will not be accepted.

2.5. To enter the Giveaway, Entrants must log in to their Blue Light Card mobile application during the Entry Period (an “Entry”).

2.6. The Recipients of the free sausage rolls will be determined on a first come, first served basis, based on the first 2000 Entrants who log in to the Blue Light Card mobile application, after having received a Marketing push notification or email (the “Recipients”), on Saturday, 29 November 2025 (the "Giveaway Date").

2.7. Entries are limited to one (1) per Entrant.

2.8. We will not accept:

2.8.1. responsibility for entries that are corrupted, or not successfully completed or transmitted due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind; 2.8.2. responsibility for any technical interruption, fault or site failure that occurs when entering the Giveaway; or 2.8.3. proof of transmission or submission as proof of receipt of entry to the Giveaway.

3. The Gift

3.1. The Gift will be a free Greggs sausage roll digital gift card (the “Gift”) that can be used for (1) one sausage roll and must be redeemed by 31 January 2026.

3.2. The Gift is subject to third party terms and conditions which you must comply with when using the Gift. Please check the terms and conditions on the Gift carefully for any limitations or validity periods for redemption. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend the validity period of any Gifts and will not be liable for expired Gifts or limitations imposed by a third-party supplier or merchants at the point of redemption.

3.3. The Gift does not include any expenses incurred by a Recipient when taking up or using the Gift, including but not limited to travel, parking, food, drink, or accommodation expenses, insurance (if required), and any other expense or cost in excess of the balance of the Gift or any cost that is outside of the scope of the Gift. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the taking up or use of the Gift are the responsibility of the Recipient.

3.4. The successful Recipients of the Gift will be notified by an in-app pop-up message at the point of log-in and will then receive a unique link to claim their Gift via email on the Giveaway Date. If a Recipient does not claim their Gift using the link within the notification email by 31 January 2026, then the Gift will be forfeited by the Recipient. The notification email will be delivered by noreply@communications.bluelightcard.co.uk.

3.5. Each Gift is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

3.6. We reserve the right to replace any Gift with an alternative gift of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

4. General

4.6. We, our agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any Recipient or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of the Recipient taking up or using a Gift except where it is caused by our negligence or the negligence of our agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your legal rights are not affected.

4.7. If any provision(s) of these terms and conditions (or any part thereof) are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions (or any part of such provisions) will remain in full force and effect.

4.8. The Giveaway will be governed by English law and entrants to the Giveaway submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

5. Data Protection and Publicity

5.1. We will process any personal information received in connection with the Giveaway in accordance with our Privacy Notice which is available here.

5.2. We must either publish or otherwise make available information that indicates that a valid Giveaway took place. To comply with this legal obligation, we may publish on our webpage the surname and county of the Recipient, or Recipients where applicable. If you object to any or all of your details being published or made available, please contact us at: dpo@bluelightcard.co.uk. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority or any other regulator on request.
