We’ve made it easier for you to save money on the cost of cinema trips. You can start by visiting the Cinema hub through via the ‘Explore’ tab and visiting the ‘Things to do’ category. Once you have selected the cinema chain of your choice then you:

Choose the voucher types and quantity you want to purchase.

*Please note that any newly purchased Cinema vouchers will ONLY be accessible via your Blue Light Card web wallet.

Once you have access to our new Cinema experience, you can no longer make a purchase using Service Seats. Rest assured, the savings you enjoyed on Service Seats are now available in the new Cinema experience which can be accessed in your account.

Cinema vouchers are available to all members via your Blue Light Card account through the 'Cinema' category or searching for the cinema of your choice.
Our Cinema vouchers help you save money at selected cinemas, such as: Cineworld, ODEON, Picturehouse, Showcase, The Light and Vue. You can choose between vouchers for discounted film screenings or go for discounted extras like popcorn, drinks and snacks in selected locations. For some cinema providers, we also offer discounted vouchers for cinema memberships.
To save on your next trip to the cinema, simply purchase your choice of voucher through Blue Light Card and use it online with the cinema provider or in person at your chosen location.
Yes. As a Blue Light Card member, you can buy discounted vouchers for cinema memberships at ODEON and Cineworld. Discounted membership vouchers can be accessed via the same pages as you would access ticket or food and drink vouchers for ODEON and Cineworld.

Once bought, you will need to redeem the voucher directly with the cinema provider.
Unfortunately not. Once you've bought and viewed your cinema voucher, we can't offer refunds or exchanges, even if your plans change. We're also unable to offer refunds for cinema vouchers (regardless of viewed status) after the 14-day cooling off period has expired
However, you can use your voucher for any eligible screening – it doesn't need to be the same one you had initially planned!
If you cancel your booking, we can’t refund or replace your voucher. If the cinema cancels it, keep your cancellation email that’ll be needed if you want to request a replacement code.
Eligible professions to join Blue Light Card include NHS staff, teachers, emergency services, armed forces, police, social care workers, and retirees from these professions.
