Where can I use Blue Light Card?
Blue Light Card partners with thousands of UK brands and retailers across everyday spending, holidays, electrical appliances, days out, food and beverage and much more.
Each offer description will state the type of offer, e.g. high street offer or online offer. Refer to the individual offer page and it's terms and conditions for more information on how the offer needs to be redeemed.
How do I confirm my eligibility?
To be eligible under this category, you need to be able to provide a form of the ID listed below matching the name on your Blue Light Card account.
Our team may use information on your company's website along with your work ID to review your application.
Payslip showing:
- Name
- Dental Practice employer affiliation OR NHS payslip
- Dated within 3 months
Work ID card showing:
- Name
- Dental Practice employer OR NHS ID/smart card
NHS Payment Schedule
Please note the Payment Schedule must show the NHS dental practice you are employed in, the name registered to your Blue Light Card account and dated within the last 3 months. If your name does not appear on this document a valid payslip will need to be provided alongside this.
Valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration number
Common reasons for ID decline under this category
- The name on your ID card/payslip doesn't match your account
- Your payslip did not show a date from within the last 3 months
- The team were unable to find evidence that your employer is a dental practice
How long will it take to review my application?
If you've uploaded a photo of your work ID, we aim to have reviewed this within 72 working hours (Monday-Friday), but often sooner.
Once we've reviewed the ID, you'll receive an email to confirm if the work ID has been approved or declined.
If you've not received an email or any update to your application, please check the My Card section of your account for the latest update on your application and any outstanding actions that you need to take.
Once your application has been completed, you will be able to access offers the following day.
Can I use my digital card to use high street offers?
You can present your digital card in high street stores to use our offers however, it is to the company's discretion if they wish to see a physical Blue Light Card instead.

On average, members could save £3,126 a year with their Blue Light Card.*
