Offer T&Cs
Why are Terms & Conditions important?
Terms & Conditions help make sure your offer is clear, fair, and easy to understand for customers. They set expectations before someone redeems the offer, which helps avoid confusion at the point of sale and protects both you and the customer.
What should Terms & Conditions include?
For most small businesses, T&Cs only need to cover a few key things:
Do Terms & Conditions need to be long?
No. In most cases 1–3 short sentences is enough. The aim is to keep them clear and easy to read, especially on a mobile screen.
What happens if I don’t include T&Cs?
Without T&Cs, customers may assume the offer applies to everything at any time, which can lead to misunderstandings when they try to redeem it.
Example of simple T&Cs
Valid Monday–Thursday. Excludes drinks and set menus. Not valid with other promotions.
